Norwich to Tilbury - Feedback Questionnaire

We are planning a new electricity transmission link between Norwich and Tilbury. This connection will help deliver secure, cleaner and more affordable energy from where it is generated to where it is needed.

In August 2025, we submitted our Development Consent Order (DCO) application which was accepted for examination in autumn 2025. Since then, we have continued survey work and conversations with stakeholders. 

Through this process, we have identified two small, local changes that will make our proposals better.

The proposed changes are: 

• Little Bromley, change to the East Anglia Connection Node substation (EACN) access. 
• Bulphan, change to third party access and works. 

Most of the original plans remain the same. Making adjustments like this after an application has been accepted for examination is a normal part of the DCO process.

We are seeking feedback on the two proposed changes through a targeted consultation process. This consultation will run at the same time, but independently from, the DCO examination and is being carried out in accordance with established guidance.

We will review feedback received on the two changes as we refine our proposals ahead of submitting our change applications to the Planning Inspectorate later this year.
