About this consultation

Securing the Future is our once in a lifetime opportunity to build a state of the art new Airedale General Hospital.

Airedale NHS Foundation Trust is developing outline proposals for a new hospital at Airedale.

Most of the current hospital is made from reinforced autoclaved aerated concrete, known as RAAC, which has reached the end of its life and must be replaced as soon as possible.

Before submitting a formal planning application to Bradford Council, we want to hear views from patients, staff, local residents, businesses and community organisations.

At this stage, we are seeking outline planning permission. This means we are asking for feedback on the principle of the development and the design parameters, including the overall approach, proposed layout, scale and height, and access arrangements. We are not asking for views on detailed design features such as materials, interior layouts or landscaping details, which will be developed at a later stage.

Please review the consultation information on the website, exhibition materials or leaflet before completing this survey.
