In Leeds, when we're making changes to health and care services, it's important that we start with what we already know about people's experiences. We know that a wide range of involvement activities take place with different communities across the city, and we want to make sure that we can share the valuable insight those activities create to help us make services better.
To support this, we have set up the Leeds Insight Library, a database to store any documents or reports that help meet this aim. If you have been involved in a piece of work where you've written an engagement report, summarised key themes and suggestions from patient feedback or have a document you think is worth sharing then we want to add it to the library!
This short form allows you to give the information we need, including where to download the document / report (or how to send it to us) as well a range of 'tags' and information that helps categorise the document as we add it to the database. This database can then be searched when we need to explore what we already know about a particular subject.
When you select the tags, please consider whether the insight you are 'tagging' is substantial / useful enough to be tagged. Would that insight be useful to a commissioner when planning health and care services? Think "less is more".
We will also use this database to capture reports and experiences that will be added to future updates of our insight reports (visit the Leeds Health and Care Partnership website for more information on these reports: https://www.healthandcareleeds.org/have-your-say/get-involved/populations/)
Almost any file type can be added to the library, including videos (up to a certain size if it's the actual file).
If you have any questions or issues with the form, please contact Adam Stewart at adam.stewart1@nhs.net or call 0113 221 7723.
Please note that when you press 'Submit' at the bottom of the page there will be a second page where you need to submit the survey. Sometimes this can take a moment to process.
