Thank you for looking at our preliminary plans for the Tarchon project proposed to create a direct power link between Essex in Great Britain, and a landing site at Niederlangen, in Lower Saxony, Germany.

We welcome your views in this initial stage of non-statutory consultation on the proposals to date and we look forward to continued engagement as our project progresses.

You can respond to this consultation by:
• Completing a feedback form at an in-person event and posting it in our secure box or sending it to ‘Freepost TARCHON ENERGY’ (no stamp required) before the consultation closing date.
• Filling in the feedback form online on the project website: www.tarchonenergy.net
• Sending your comments via email with the subject line ‘Feedback’ to: info@tarchonenergy.net

Personal data will be used only by the applicant, Tarchon Energy Limited, and its consultants. Tarchon will not share your information with any third parties for the purposes of direct marketing. We do not, and will not, sell personal data.

We use third parties as data processors to provide elements of services for us. We have contracts in place with our data processors. This means that they cannot do anything with your personal data unless we have instructed them to do it or are required to by law.

We will not share your personal data with any other parties unless required to do so by law or by a regulatory authority; for instance, the Planning Inspectorate may request copies of all consultation responses received in line with the Planning Act 2008. Consultation responses may be made public if required.

We may also disclose your personal data when required:
• To protect the vital interests of you or another individual; or,
• To exercise or defend our legal rights.

The information the Tarchon project is collecting will be used so we can collate and analyse views about the proposals as well as keeping you up to date with future news about the project. All information will be securely stored only for the purpose of this consultation, future consultations, the Development Consent Order (DCO) application and the project, and will be stored in compliance with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations).
